About the product
A medicine cup that disappears, without a trace
The Plastilose medicine cup is made from bacterial cellulose, a pure biopolymer cultivated by micro-organisms from by-products of the Dutch sugar industry. The result: a cup that feels like plastic, but fully decomposes within 3 months in nature.
Unlike paper alternatives, our cup contains no plastic coating and no PFAS. The material is tested according to ISO 10993 and holds GRAS status with the FDA. Learn more about our approach in healthcare.
